This version of the 920 is offered without an insert, leaving the entire 15 x 10.5 x 6.2" interior available for complete customization to your specific gear and needs.
Its gasketed lid is held fast with dual PowerClaw latches.
This patented latch system uses compressive force to tightly clamp the case shut to a waterproof and dustproof IP67 rating, with an integrated slide lock that prevents the case from opening during transport or if dropped.
For additional security, there are two 0.3" padlock holes integrated into the case and lid. A molded-in bezel system allows the use of optional inserts that can be installed quickly and easily without the need to modify your case.
A built-in pressure relief valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed during air travel and allowing you to open it without having to break a tough pressurized seal.
Further design features include rustproof stainless steel hardware and a foldable soft-grip handle at the top.
Nanuk Multilayered Cubed Foam Insert for the 920 Case
Customize the interior of your Nanuk 920 case for maximum gear protection with this Multilayered Cubed Foam Insert from Nanuk. Simply place the foam pieces in your case, place items you wish to store on top of the largest foam piece, mark gear outlines, and remove pick-and-pluck cubes as required.
The insert consists of a convoluted piece for the lid, a protective base pad on the bottom, and a prescored cubed layer for the middle. When measuring your gear to the case and removing the cubes, make sure to leave two inches around the perimeter to guard against side impact.
