Add a handheld shoulder rig, mounting options, and numerous accessories to your Sony FX9 camera with this Professional Shoulder Rig Kit from SmallRig.
The kit includes a VCT-14 baseplate with integrated shoulder pad, a U-shaped top plate, a side plate, a battery slide, a D-Tap cable, a rosette extension arm, a rosette handgrip, a 15mm LWS rod clamp, two 10" 15mm rods, and a multi-tool with assembly screws.
The VCT-14 baseplate allows you to mount the camera onto a tripod or head with a VCT-14 adapter plate, using the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mounting threads, or you can utilize the soft, comfortable foam pad for shoulder-mounted handheld shots.
It features two ARRI-style rosettes on either side, so you can mount additional rosette handgrips or extension arms.
A lens support is also included with the baseplate to support long or heavy lenses. The battery mount features a V-lock mount and can mount a V-mount battery.
The included D-Tap cable can then connect the battery to power the FX9.
The U-shaped top plate mounts around the original top handle and provides numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads for mounting extension arms, monitor mounts, and other accessories.
The side plate provides additional threads as well as a rosette and a shoe mount. The rosette extension arm and handgrip add additional handheld support to the rig and can mount onto either the side plate or the baseplate.
The 15mm LWS rod clamp mounts onto the rig and accommodates the included 10" 15mm rods to add additional accessories such as a follow focus motor or a matte box.
Also included is a multi-tool with numerous screwdrivers and wrenches to assemble the kit with the included screws.
Note:
This shoulder plate is compatible with Sony VCT-14 tripod adapter plates but is not compatible with Sony VCT-U14 plates or the Zacuto VCT tripod plate.
SmallRig VCT-14 Shoulder Plate with Pad for Sony PXW-FX9
Use the VCT-14 Shoulder Plate with Pad from SmallRig to quickly switch between handholding your Sony PXW-FX9 camera and mounting it on a separately available VCT-14 tripod adapter plate.
The comfortable, integrated shoulder pad allows you to handhold your camera for long periods of time.
The plate features include front and back 15mm LWS rod support, ARRI-style rosettes, and multiple 1/4"-20 accessory threads.
The bottom of the plate features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads to mount on a tripod or quick release plate, and it features a VCT-14 wedge to mount onto an optional VCT plate.
Detachable rosettes on each side allow you to mount an optional rotating handgrip or extension arm. An included lens adapter support provides bottom support for a heavy lens or bulky lens support to reduce strain on your camera body.

This shoulder plate is compatible with Sony VCT-14 tripod adapter plates but is not compatible with Sony VCT-U14 plates or the Zacuto VCT tripod plate.

Add accessories such as a follow focus to your Sony PXW-FX9 camera with this 15mm LWS Rod Clamp from SmallRig. The aluminum block-style clamp features standard 15mm LWS rod ports that secure locking levers and mounts onto the separately available SmallRig FX9 top plate using two M4 screws. An Allen wrench and two M4 screws are included with the bracket.

Sony PXW-FX9 camera
SmallRig Power Supply Solution Kit for Sony PXW-FX9
Power your PMW-FX9 cinema camera using a high-capacity V-mount battery with this Power Supply Solution Kit from SmallRig. The kit includes a V-lock battery bracket and a regulated D-Tap to DC barrel power cable. Rubber padding protects the back of the camera from scratching.
The bracket mounts onto the back of the camera using the included screws, and the V-lock portion of the bracket can slide up and down to provide access to the camera's internal battery and slots.
A separately available V-mount battery can slide onto the V-lock mount to provide power to the camera via the included D-Tap to DC barrel power cable, leaving enough room between the camera and the cable connector to plug in the DC barrel connector.
The 15.7" long regulated power cable provides 19.5V of power to the camera from any V-mount battery with a D-Tap output, and it features a D-Tap safety LED to indicate whether the D-Tap is plugged into the battery with the correct polarity.

The SmallRig Extension Arm with ARRI Rosette allows you to extend and reposition handgrips with ARRI-compatible rosette mounting. This rosette extends your grip by 3.88" and can be oriented 360°. It features one male M6 threaded stud at one end and a female M6 threaded hole at the other. Made from aluminum alloy and stainless steel, this machined extension arm is lightweight, durable, and finished to have an elegant appearance.
